Yoga Pose Of The Month: Parsvottanasana
4 Sep 2015
Parsvottanasana, otherwise known as pyramid pose, is an incredible stretch for those tight hamstrings and the lower back. In order to achieve the beautiful sense of surrender and deep folding of the pose, one must first focus on the deceptively difficult alignment of the pose. Once you can find the correct placement of the feet and legs, a precise squaring and leveling of the hips, and the right amount of support from blocks necessary, the asana can become a quiet, healing moment in your practice.
