Sirsasana is headstand pose, and is often considered the “king of all asanas”. In a headstand, your body is completely inverted, balancing on the forearms with the head lightly connecting to the floor. The pose has enormous benefits physically – strengthening, balancing, and invigorating the circulatory and nervous systems of the body. Not only does headstand have considerable health benefits, it allows the practitioner to confront fear and observe the world from a new perspective.
