Yoga Pose of The Month: Bakasana

Bakasana is translated as Crane Pose, but is often referred to as Crow. This arm balance is the foundation and key to all of the other arm balances in yoga. While muscular strength is helpful, the asana is achieved more through proper architecture and structural alignment. Crow is an opportunity to take flight in class – a chance to become intensely present as you soar and hover over your mat!
