After moving to NYC over 3 years ago and using yoga as a tool to deal with transition and running injuries, Alana realized a deeper passion for yoga. In one year, Alana completed the 500 Hour Teacher Training at ISHTA Yoga. She loves teaching well rounded classes that incorporate pranayama, asana, meditation, and restorative poses with an Ayurvedic touch to complement the seasons. She enjoys challenging busy New Yorkers to slow down, be present, and look for the connection between mind and body. While not lying around in goddess pose, Alana works in Marketing and Communications for an online employment company, helping to find the connection between people and job opportunities.
